From New York, New York
- I was working as a cashier one night when a lady handed me a comment
card she had just filled out. She rated everything excellently except the
server, which she gave a poor rating.
"May I ask what was wrong with your Server so we may bring it to his attention?"
I asked.
"Certainly," she replied. "I just spent $150.00 in your restaurant on my
friends, and at first our server was quite lovely, till the very end. After
I paid the bill, our server never thanked us."
"Oh," I said in shock. "That's not like one of our servers, I'll bring it
to his attention immediately!"
She seemed satisfied with the answer and thanked me. On the way out the door
I overheard her telling one of the party,
"The nerve of that waiter, and I had even left him a $3.00 tip!"
