From Murray, Kentucky
- Between my junior and senior years of high school, I was a waitress at the Hillbilly Restaurant in Lake City, Kentucky. One day for lunch, six workers from the rock pit across the highway came in. It was a hot July day and none of them were wearing shirts. As I approached their table with a tray of six ice teas, I stumbled and the entire tray went onto the bare backs of one of the men. I was mortified as a 17 yr old. But he was a good natured fellow and laughed as he thanked me for helping him cool off! I was embarrassed but grateful for his understanding.
