• We get alot of people from other countries in Orlando, and everyone seems to have a different custom on tipping. One of the strangest happened with a party of fifteen Japanese business men. They each wanted seperate checks, a pain in the ass, but no problem. I gave them fifteen seperate checks, which in my restaurant means I lose the gratuity on parties of 8 or more. Again, no problem, maybe I'll luck out...right! What I got was fifteen one dollar bills and fifteen packs of a japenese bubble gum called: Cool Mint. Good gum.
